Working With Through Unity

We are looking for partners who can help Through Unity with its mission to support families bereaved by homicide.

We are all too aware that this is a significant challenge across the country not just in London and Through Unity is looking for people who can join us to work for us at grass roots in the communities that need support and also new trustees and directors who can join us to help steer our charity as we grow.

Here are some outline profiles of the paid roles and voluntary positions we are currently advertising.

Local volunteers

Help with local events. fundraising and campaigns, events and activities to help promote and grow Through Unity in the community where you live.

Development Officer

Part time to full time roles for support outreach to recently bereaved, involvement in communication / education and awareness of vulnerable young people.

Administrator

Part time support to our CEO and the whole team to help manage and coordinate diaries, plan meetings and the smooth day to day running of the charity and its support to families. You will be able to manage correspondence, meeting notes and event bookings and arrangements.

Director / Trustee

We are looking for non-executive directors / trustees to join the board of Through Unity to support the next stage of our development.

With vision and appropriate back-ground and skills, social, financial or legal you will be able to help us take Through Unity into new areas including campaigning as well as our core support to families and outreach to recently bereaved.

We are seeking applications from motivated and suitably experienced individuals who wish to be considered for the exciting and challenging position of non-executive Director / Trustee.

We encourage diversity of application. The roles are voluntary for three years initially.
